A. Sharkey Roofing & Roughcasting Ltd provides roofing services, roof repairs, gutter repairs and replacement, external house painting, and home maintenance services. 3. Quotations and Pricing

3.1 Quotations
All quotations provided by A. Sharkey Roofing & Roughcasting Ltd are based on an initial assessment and are valid for a period of 30 days unless otherwise specified. All quotations are estimates and may be subject to change based on further inspection, changes to the scope of work, or additional unforeseen work requirements.

​3.2 Acceptance of Quotations
By accepting a quotation, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in that specific quotation, including but not limited to scope of work, estimated completion time, and pricing. A deposit may be required for certain works and will be specified in the quotation.

Our standard payment terms are outlined in the invoice provided at the completion of the work. Full payment is required within 30 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Late payments may incur interest and charges as permitted by law.

4. 10-Year Guarantee

4.1 Scope of Guarantee

A. Sharkey Roofing & Roughcasting Ltd offers a 10-year guarantee on all new roof installations provided by us. This guarantee covers defects in materials and workmanship. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by:

• Accidental or intentional damage

• Weather conditions deemed to be beyond normal exposure (e.g., extreme storms)

• Improper use or maintenance of the roof by the client or a third party

• Modifications or repairs made by a third party without prior consent from us

 

4.2 Making a Claim
If you believe that your new roof installation is faulty within the guarantee period, please contact us at 07885549640 or by email at andrewsharkey@hotmail.co.uk. We will arrange an inspection, and if the issue is covered under the terms of this guarantee, we will rectify the defect free of charge.

 

5. Limitations of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, A. Sharkey Roofing & Roughcasting Ltd will not be liable for:
